Clubhouse International, the only global non-profit, non-governmental organization that helps communities around the world create sustainable solutions for mental illness, celebrates the 30th Anniversary of its founding in 2024. In 30 years, Clubhouse International has succeeded in creating something that didn’t exist before: a worldwide community that is changing the world of mental health.
New U.S Congressional Clubhouse Caucus Founded: Exciting News and Potential for Growth of the Clubhouse Movement across the U.S.
Representative Ritchie Torres (NY-15) has announced the establishment of a congressional caucus, The Clubhouse Caucus, which will serve as a platform through which members of the U.S. Congress can advocate for enhanced mental health care by promoting the development and support of Clubhouses.

New Clubhouse Research Supports Advocacy
We are very pleased to introduce a new research tool for Clubhouse Advocacy: the Transforming Lives: Clubhouse Impact Report summarizes the most compelling research on the Clubhouse Model. Created by Dr. Joy Agner and her team at the USC Chan, this visual report integrates findings from 15 rigorous, peer-reviewed studies conducted between 1999 and 2021 into an integrated theory of change.

So many of us are grateful that our Clubhouses have given our lives meaning, purpose, friendship, and joy. In 2014, a group of us from the Michigan (U.S.) Clubhouse Coalition decided to create a week-long event (March 4-11 2024) in which Clubhouse members around the world can celebrate our Clubhouses together, and tell the world who we are! We are pleased to say this is the 10th year of this event!
